Support the Senior Deputy District Attorney in researching, drafting, editing, and finalizing legal motions and filings, including Penal Code §1538.5 supplementals and §1172.1 presumption-for-recall motions.
Review and analyze jail calls, cross-referencing data to identify potential violations of Criminal Protective Orders (CPOs) and instances of dissuasion in domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking cases.
Request, organize, and summarize officer body-worn camera (BWC) transcripts to resolve evidentiary disputes.
Serve as liaison between the DA’s Human Trafficking Task Force and UC Santa Barbara to establish a student-focused Task Force on campus.
